Industry Professionals

The Center welcomes brand, agency, media, and platform executives who want to help mentor and train the next generation of creator economy talent. Engagement is designed to match the level of time and commitment that makes sense for an individual — from attending a single event to holding a paid teaching appointment.

There are several structured ways to get involved:

  • Attend & Participate — Join Center events on the Syracuse campus or at industry gatherings in New York and Los Angeles. It’s a natural way to meet students, faculty, and fellow industry leaders, and to see the Center’s work firsthand.
  • Adjunct Professor — Executives with the right expertise can pursue a paid teaching appointment through the Newhouse or Whitman Schools, contributing to undergraduate education or executive education programming.
  • Industry Fellow — For executives collaborating with Center faculty on specific research or policy initiatives, typically connected to a grant or corporate partnership. This is a project-based collaboration scoped to defined outcomes.
  • Speaker & Panelist — The Center regularly welcomes industry leaders to speak at events on the Syracuse campus and at industry gatherings, from keynotes and lectures to moderated panels.

For organizations and individuals ready to make a larger, lasting investment, corporate partnership and personal giving are the most direct ways to shape what the Center becomes — explore our Corporate Partnerships for more on Founding Partner and Industry Council opportunities.
