The Creator Economy Minor
The Creator Economy minor is open to undergraduates across every school and college at Syracuse University. The interdisciplinary 18-credit program treats the creator economy as an ecosystem of distinct career paths spanning content, strategy, business, and monetization. It’s the entry point for a curriculum that will grow, but it starts here, in Fall 2026.
Career Pathways
Every program at the Center is designed around producing real work. Students leave with a portfolio of demonstrated content production experience, documented industry relationships, research and data analysis. Structured internships, a student-run content studio, and pitch competitions where judges can make real commitments give students the credentials and connections that carry a career forward. Every employer who hires a CCE student becomes a long-term partner, every guest lecturer a potential mentor.
Executive Education
The Center’s academic model extends beyond degree-seeking students to working professionals navigating this industry’s rapid evolution. Executive education intensives and certifications give industry professionals a way to advance their careers or validate expertise already earned on the job — bringing the same academic rigor to practitioners who are already in the field.
