The creator economy is a full value chain, and the Center’s career pathways are built to reflect that. From production through distribution, monetization, representation, and finance, the industry includes far more than the people who appear on camera. It includes the strategists and marketers who build campaigns around creators, the agencies and managed-service firms that operate at scale, the platforms and SaaS technologies that provide the infrastructure, and the agents, managers, and legal and finance professionals who structure the deals underneath it all. A curriculum built around only minting new creators leaves most of the industry’s opportunity unaddressed — which is why the Center’s pathways span the entire ecosystem.
- Marketing-Side Practitioners — Brand managers, agency strategists, and performance marketers, built through Newhouse and Whitman coursework, industry connections and alumni.

Each pathway is developed in direct conversation with the employers who hire into it — embedded practicum experience and a talent pipeline built to match a specific industry need. It’s a model meant to grow; our career pathways are designed to expand across the University, one employer relationship and one new pathway at a time.
